Gift Ideas For The Hard To Buy For People On Your List | Homemade Gifts

Christmas time is such a fun time of year, but buying gifts can be stressful. Especially for those on your list that you feel already have everything. Finding something unique, meaningful, and one of a kind can get hard. I have three great gift ideas for those on your list that your trying to find the perfect gift for that they will love all year long.

1. Homemade Ornaments

We started this tradition in 2013 when we announced to my parents and grandparents through ornaments that they would be grandparents/great grandparents for the first time! It is something that they can keep and look at every year hanging on their Christmas tree and brings back the special memory year after year. Every year we make a new ornament and give them to grandparents on Christmas to add to their collection. We make an extra to put on our own tree and they are my most special ornaments hanging on my tree. My kids love the excuse to be able to get messy and then see their special ornament hanging on the tree.

Pintrest has so many fun ideas that are easy for young kids or more skilled for older kids. We have made fingerprint snowmen, hand prints, fingerprint reindeer, fingerprint candy canes, and fingerprint lights. Add a little glitter and it makes it even more magical!

2. Magnets

Who doesn't love having meaningful magnets on their fridge? I love that the gift of magnets gives all year long and for years to come. It is such a fun idea for family you see often or live far away. Shutterfly made it so easy for me to upload my favorite pictures of my kids. Easy. Cute. Fun. Something that will be enjoyed for a long time. Win-Win! I sign up for Shutterfly's emails and watch for the best deals. Then I can order when I can get a good deal. It's just a bonus they have lots of cute designs to choose from.

3. Calendar

Everyone has a calendar in their home. Why not make it personalized? It's fun to be able to pick out our favorite pictures from throughout the year and flip through each month and remember all our best memories together. I ask family members to send me their favorite pictures of their own families to add for grandparent's calendars. That way they get to enjoy looking at all the family members each month. It takes a bit of time, but it's one of the most loved gifts I give.

There are so many online companies that are user friendly and great quality. I make several calendars for Christmas gifts each year and have found that Shutterfly is my favorite. Their products are great and when I signed up for their emails I got several promo codes around the holidays to get a great deal and even FREE! Yes, I said free! I only paid shipping.

(Shutterfly is not sponsored by this post. I just LOVE them. )

Make gift giving fun and meaningful for all those on your list!
