The best part of marriage is that you get to claim not only the girl/guy of your dreams, but get to call their family your own. My sister, Bailey, found a great guy but also has a wonderful second family to call her own. Bailey is always a thoughtful gift giver and notices small things. She noticed that her new in laws needed a new updated family picture and did all the planning to make sure it happened. Going in with siblings is a great way to gift a family session.
She found a perfect location location that would look great printed in the Martin home. It was a cold November day, but every single family member was just happy to be able to spend time together. They drove all the way from Evanston, WY to Logan, UT just for family pictures and to spend some time with their married kids. I loved hearing stories of funny childhood memories, and watching them laugh and enjoy each others company. That's why I enjoy being a family photographer so much. Seeing how even when there is so much crazy going on in the world, time slows down when we are in the presence of our own families and soaking in their company. The Martin family was easy going and willing to try all my ideas. They were great!
I love being able to sneak in a few pictures of the parents as a couple. Where it all started. When life was simpler and didn't have as many stresses with kids, jobs, and life. Four kids later and they still enjoy being with each other. It was great to be able to capture their love for one another.
