Olivia doesn't have just any ordinary birthday this year. This year is extra special! She will be turning 8 and in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, when you turn 8 you get to choose for yourself if you would like to be baptized and become a member. Olivia has chosen to be baptized in November, the day after her birthday.
Olivia picked the Logan, UT Temple for the perfect spot to take her special pictures. She looked stunning in the beautiful white dress her and her mom had found. I loved being able to spend the evening with both of them. Her happiness was radiating as we walked around the temple grounds. Her grandparents had started working in the temple that same night, so she was on the look out to see if she could spot them.
The primary song When I Am Baptized was in my head the entire as we were taking Olivia's baptism pictures. "I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain, and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again. I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain. I want to be the best I can, and live with God again. I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away, and I can be forgiven and improve myself each day. I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain. I want to be the best I can, and live with God again." Congrats Olivia, I'm excited for your big baptism day.
