I love being a senior photographer, but this year was extra special to see behind the scenes of so many seniors that experiencing the end of their senior year during a pandemic. Schools were closed and they were finishing their school year online. Covid 19 put us all in unmarked water and with home of going back to school before the end of the school year. Weeks turned into months and soon quarantine graduation became the reality for most seniors.
Seniors this year got the most memorable ending to their senior year. It was nothing like any of them planned, but something they will definitely be telling their kids and grand kids. A mass graduation quickly turned into drive in graduations for many, graduations happening on the football fields, and for some just them and their families watching them walk across the stage at their high school.
Shaylee was a senior at Sky View High School in Smithfield, Utah. The day of her session it drizzled rain the whole time and I loved the dewy look it gave her senior pictures. Something about rain and taking pictures in all the fresh beauty is incredible. Senior pictures in the rain? Yes please! So fun!
